Dad & Julian

There is one thing that has always amazed me about the men in my family, they are very sensitive, kind, loving and playful people. My brothers, father, grandfathers and uncles are all these tough men. They are all big and strong and can be intimidating if they want to be. But you put any of them around their grandchildren, nephews or nieces, they become these huge teddy bears who make you sit back and say "awww..." I am grateful that I come from a family who treasures being a family. Who has always made it a point to foster strong relationships with each other and regularly share their love and affection both verbally and physically.

Dad & Julian - Julian still wakes up in the morning and runs out to find "pumpa and gragra" I'm glad that he had so much fun with them.

My Mom, Dad and brothers (Casey and Barry) were here for Thanksgiving and were able to spend some quality time with Julian and it made me miss them so much more but also got me so excited to have them spend more time with my kids. It was such a joy to see them having so much fun. My father has rarely looked happier than when he gets to play with his grandson and I appreciate that.

Julian only wanted "pumpa" to put him down for a nap on Sunday. This is how I found them when I got home from church :)
This is Julian's favorite game to play with Uncle Barry. He takes off his hat and then puts it back on and then takes it off and puts it on his head.
