Miscellaneous Stuff

I haven't had a lot of time this week (or last week) to blog. JD and I purchased about 35-38 pounds (I don't actually know the exact amount) of peaches for $0.50 a pound! I have been canning all week. I did 9 half pints of peach jam, 19 pints and 1 quart of peaches (part in apple juice part in white grape juice). It's been great though! The weather has been beautiful and we've been spending a lot of time outside. 7-peaks opened today so we will be making our first foray into the water park scene on Tuesday morning (I hope). Julian is going to be thrilled!!
JD got a part time paid legal job that will last through the summer and possibly through the school year so that is exciting. He's also working part time as an extern at Digital Bridge in Orem as assistant in house council, again also exciting. He started everything this week so we are adjusting to him being gone 40 hours a week. It's a change for sure :)

Here are some photos of our fun times in the last few weeks:

We went bowling for Family Home Evening. Julian had a great time. He was strong enough to pick up his ball and put it on the stand. He didn't care one bit about the ball hitting the pins, only transferring the ball to the stand. It was so cute.

This is how Tennyson spent his time while we were bowling :) Isn't he cute?

There is an awesome park not far from our house that has this awesome tractor in it. It is now known as the "tractor park" and is one of Julian's favorites. I like it because most of it is shaded by huge pine trees so it's about 10 degrees cooler there then at most of the other parks.

He is climbing and jumping on and off of everything he possibly can. He can climb this rock wall all by himself. There is one at the neighboring elementary school that is twice as high that he can climb as well.
Julian got a new tie for Church and apparently they don't sell "in between" ties. I could only find ones that are much too short (perfect for a 1 year old body) or much too long (perfect for a 4-5 year old body). Oh well, he loves it cause it looks more like Daddy's ties.

The other night Julian wanted his tent up to play and then he wanted to sleep in his tent with his Lightning McQueen sleeping bag and pillow that he got from Grandpa Bridges for his birthday. He fell asleep really quickly but woke up 2 hours later terrified because he didn't know where he was. Hopefully real camping will work out better this summer :)
Helping Daddy fix the Popsicle sticks so that they will actually stay in the Popsicle and pull it out when we want one :)
Being a helpful big brother... I didn't realize how dark Julian is getting or how light his hair is until this photo. He's such a good big brother.
Playing in his pool... poor kid has a farmer's tan!

Happy Tennyson, he is so much fun.
