I started a new project. I am cooking my way through Peter Reinhart's The Bread Baker's Apprentice. I will be cooking one new bread each Monday and (hopefully) posting about each bread on my food blog. Yesterday I made Anadama bread, which was a new experience. Oh, and I'm making each loaf by hand. I had to knead this bread yesterday for 20 minutes before the gluten was developed properly. :)

you are amazing..!!!! You know... those bakers in the dark ages would have loved a K-5 mixer instead of kneading by hand...(smile) of course they would have been pretty jazzed about electricy to run a K-5...(grin)...
