John-David loves Google products. As many of you know, he is a self entitled "High Priest of Google." Google has just recently come out with Google Voice. It's a pretty awesome product that allows him to choose his own phone number. From here he can have the number ring to voicemail or any phone number he desires (that we have access to). He can also make calls from our home phone but listed as his phone number. It's just a good as a cell phone but better. Google originally opened the product to very few people however it is in high demand so they opened to more people on the list. He has applied for a number at least 20 times and today he was invited to get a Google Voice number.
He was so thrilled. His exact words were "YAY YAY YAY, It's my birthday and Christmas all wrapped in one and in July! I have to take the afternoon off!" We've been playing around with it and it's pretty awesome.
One other awesome feature is that it will record the voicemail, transcribe it, email and text you the transcription and voicemail message. I called and said "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" to see how good the transcription was and this is what it texted me "Super jealous idealistic it's a little just." I thought it was hysterical.
