Well, we're at the hospital. We got checked in about 6:30 AM and got situated. My doctor just came in and broke my water (it's about 7:30 AM) and they started me on pitocin. I'll get an epidural in a bit and hopefully things will just keep moving. :) I'm excited, by this afternoon Tennyson will be here!
8:15 am - I got my epidural, and I'm dilated to a 5... things are moving quickly :)
8:45 am - I am dilated to a 7, things are going fine, just fast.
9:15 am - Tennyson Pierce Anderson was born. He weighs 5 lb 12 oz and was 19.5 inches long. Another long and skinny baby. He has to be in the NICU for a little while but is otherwise doing well. He just needs to have some fluids replaced a bit, he was on the pale side but overall healthy and doiing well. He looks a bit like Julian did when he was born, lots of hair and has a mild temperment so far. He has been awake and alert and observant like Julian was as well.
10:30 AM - I just talked to JD and he said that once the Nurse Practioner checks him out in the NICU then he can come over with me. Looks like all is well. We'll post pictures later today.

Congrats! I am glad all went well. Sounds like it was pretty fast! I can't wait to see pics!
COngrats! Can't wait to see pics of the little guy!
Congrats! And now you two are REAL parents! (You know what they say, when you have one, s/he is your "buddy". It is only when you have two or more that they become your kids and you a parent).
I agree with Crystyne that once you have two you really feel like you are a family. Before its almost like playing house for a long time.
Lots of love your way Sam!
Congratulations Sam! I am glad it went so quickly for you. I hope you are feeling good and PLEASE let me know when I can bring you a meal or take Julian to the park or just watch him for you. I have a wagon also and it fits two! I'm here for you!
