Tennyson is wearing a premie outfit here... kinda weird I know. The newborn stuff is still just way too big, although at the rate he's growing he'll be in newborn clothes by the end of the week. I just thought this was super cute... I love it when babies yawn.

As far as updates go, he passed his birth weight last Friday, he was 5 lb 13 oz. Today we weighed him on our kitchen scale (there are multiple uses for this item, I highly suggest getting one) and he weighed in at 6 lb 2 oz. That is 5 oz in just 4 days! He's a wonderful baby and is sleeping well. In fact, I have to wake him up half the time to feed the kid. He's pretty darn wonderful.
Julian is still enjoying being a big brother, he tried feeding Tennyson a strawberry, chocolate cake, taco soup and his milk today. He also tried to get Tennyson to play with his new kitchen tool set that he got for his birthday, but Tennyson just refused to hold the bowl. Poor kid, I think Julian is realizing that although he's a baby, Tennyson isn't going to be much fun for a while.
Monday when Julian woke up from his nap JD was changing Tennyson's diaper. Unlike Julian, Tennyson really hates being undressed and exposed to the cold air, so he was wailing while he was getting his diaper changed and Julian ran into the living room and said very excitedly "Mommy, baby sad! Baby sad!" Then he'd run into our bedroom and tell JD "Daddy, baby sad!" and ran around telling everyone that Tennyson was sad, the whole while doing this with a huge smile on his face.
I love watching them both grow and change. Children are such a great blessing.

That's so exciting about the birth weight! That's always stressful for me! You always wonder with nursing.
He is adorable! And so tiny. I love the picture with him next to the flour. I'm so happy for you. Take care!
