My Garden

Wow has it grown :) I posted photos about 1 month ago. I am so thrilled! Here are the pictures from before and after... and they are still growing!! Butternut Squash Plant 6/5/09Butternut Squash Plant 7/09/09Zuchinni Plant 6/5/09
Zuchinni Plant 7/09/09
My first zuchinni!! I've had a lot grow but they didn't get pollinated properly so they ended up dying... pollinating by hand is a tricky business! If anyone has any tips on this front, let me know please :)

Tomatoes & Green Bell Peppers 6/05/09
Tomatoes 7/09/09 and yes, they really are up to my chin :) that is over 5 feet tall! I've got at least 2 doszen tomatoes growing right now as well!
First Pot: Anahiem Chili's (anyone know how to use these?) 7/09/09, Bell Pepper (one pepper growing!) 7/09/09, and Jalapeno's 7/09/09. The last 2 pots are Bell Peppers and Jalapenos. Note to Self: DO NOT TOUCH baby jalapenos or anahiem chili's then rub your nose. It still hurts!

Cucumbers 6/05/09Cucumbers 7/09/09. I have a few male flowers, but no female flowers with fruit yet, but soon!

Great job! I am still wondering how you got all that to fit in your garden space

Sorry to be a blog stalker, I found on the law partners blog site. I will be attending law school this fall. Anyway, I saw your plea for help with Anaheim peppers... they make the BEST Chili Relleno and they are also really good on a grilled cheese sandwich. Cut the peppers in half, seed them and then grill them, skin side down until the skin starts to char and the middle gets soft. Allow to cool and then slip the charred skin off. Now you have chilis ready for relleno (Google a recipe...) or slice them and put them on a grilled cheese sandwich with cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and sliced tomatoes, yum!
