Julian has started this new thing where he squints and smiles big and says "cheese" when the camera or video camera get pulled out. He loves being the focus of attention but also has started to enjoy being behind the camera. Yesterday JD and I were finishing our lunch when I looked over and saw Julian with JD's camera. He was holding it upside down by the flash licking the lens. Needless to say, he is starting to take after his father in his penchant for electronics, computers, and camera equipment. Julian also loves to make a tent using JD's tri-pod.
This photo was taken Friday night while we were having a goodbye party for some close friends that are moving to Ohio in a few weeks. He had a great time with his friends.
Taking pictures of mulitiple children inevitably ends up with at least one finger in the nose, one smiling, one not paying attention,
this one is the best of the 10 we took :).

These three are pretty close in age. Mark is 17 months, Corilynn is 22 months and Julian is 18 months. They get a kick out of each other.
General Conference was this weekend. I appreciate how boldly and plainly the Prophet and apostles spoke about many topics. It forces me to take a realistic view of my life and see where I can improve and where I can remind myself that I am doing the best I can and to take each day on it's own. What I may have failed on today I may improve on tomorrow so I shouldn't give up.
This week is a busy one, even though JD has a break from school. I host the cooking group for my ward and 8 times a year we cook a TON of food... wish me luck. It's this Thursday and I will be teaching 4 pies, my Mom's Secret Recipe Candied Yams, Turkey & Stuffing and how to make a pumpkin roll. We've got 2 hours to complete this... it's making me tired just thinking about it. If you have any ideas for December, usually I try to do a few things that are very basic, a few things that are intermediate and one advanced type dish. This way I hit most of the demographic of our ward. I'll have to take pictures this time and let you all know how it goes.
This last photo is one of Shannon Triplett, me, and KaraLynne Mackrory. Girlfriends are such a wonderful thing.
